GIRLS RUGBY BELLINGHAM
Bellingham Program Logistics
Each Girls Rugby program focuses on helping every participant lead and succeed by focusing on teaching positive core values and life skills through non-contact, flag rugby. Flag Rugby is a fun, all-inclusive way to introduce participants to the fundamental skills of rugby with a big emphasis on having fun! No experience is needed to play and all are welcome to come try it out! Flag Rugby substitutes a traditional “tackle” with a flag pull and is perfect for new or experienced players!
Girls Rugby will be offering programs and activities based in and around Bellingham. Check out the information below on the closest team/league to you! Don’t see one nearby? Contact us about getting one set up.
WHEN ARE THE LEAGUES?
All leagues will run for 7 weeks and consist of one day for practice and one day for games each week. Families can expect their children to learn new skills each week that will be applied during game days. The final game day will be a Girls Rugby Family Day which will welcome all family members to get active and celebrate the season with their Girls Rugby Family.
WHEN ARE PRACTICES AND GAMES?
Teams will practice 1 weeknight per week for 1 hour and 15 minutes and have game days typically on a weekend day (location specific) for 2 hours. Practice day and time will vary based on location (scroll down to see specific dates/times based on team location).
