Girls Rugby is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Robin Pace, as Board President, Jason Harper as Vice President and Sarah Quist as Treasurer.
“We are pleased to welcome Jason and Sarah as new board members and Robin as our new Board President. These individuals bring a wealth of expertise and experience in their respective fields and will be key to the future of the mission of Girls Rugby.” Jenn Heinrich, CEO/Co-Founder of Girls Rugby.
Board President Dr. Pace wanted to share her thoughts on the opportunity of being an influential part of the future of Girls Rugby, “I am privileged and honored to serve on this Board. I played rugby back in the 80’s, and like most women from that era, experienced gender inequality first hand. Rugby literally changed my life; many people who know me can agree it saved my life! Even though it was a struggle at times, there was something magical about it all – the teamwork, the training, the travel, the fundraising, and, most important, the friendships! So I want to give back to this wonderful sport, and help girls and young women find the magic in it that I did!” Dr. Robin Pace, Girls Rugby Board President.
The board is responsible for providing counsel and guidance on the direction of the organization and to help raise awareness of Girls Rugby and its mission.
